Lead complex software projects from concept through production, simplify architecture and infrastructure, improve performance and reliability, use AI-assisted engineering tools, mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, provide architectural guidance, and collaborate with product and design. The role focuses on re-architecting fragmented KYC products into a unified, scalable compliance platform.

12-month rotational role supporting fund administration and auditable reporting services. Use AI tools, scripting, and CLI workflows to automate financial processes, support 409A valuations, tax reporting, fund implementations, and portfolio data collection, and provide feedback to product and engineering.

Join Carta's Funds team supporting investor onboarding, transaction KYC, and high-volume funds legal work. Rotate or specialize across compliance, contracts, and funds work, collaborating with lawyers and paralegals, managing deadlines, communicating with clients, and handling LP transfer processes as needed.

Manage end-to-end LP transfer workflows, supervise paralegals, serve as primary client contact for KYC/AML and documentation, evolve client playbooks, support pitches, and partner with product/tech to improve AI-driven legal tools.

Prepare initial drafts of LP transfer documents, liaise with transfer parties on process and timing, assist execution workflows, work with lawyers and senior paralegals on high-volume matters, and build legal and commercial expertise toward client account ownership and qualification.

Provide paralegal support for fund-related matters: draft LP transfer and subscription documents, manage execution workflows, liaise with transfer parties, collaborate with lawyers and senior paralegals, and develop commercial and legal expertise with opportunities for SQE qualification.
