Responsibilities include developing engineers, delivering infrastructure initiatives, operating Kubernetes and cloud systems, managing incidents and on-call rotations, shaping the infrastructure roadmap, improving reliability and automation, optimizing costs, and collaborating with engineering, security, and product teams. The role also owns reliability KPIs, documentation, hiring participation, and technical delivery across critical production systems.

The role owns reliability, resiliency, uptime, cost optimization, infrastructure initiatives, team delivery, hiring, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. It requires extensive AWS, Terraform, Linux, networking, CI/CD, database, observability, and production operations experience, with full-time onsite work in Toronto or New York City.

Design and evolve core double-entry ledger systems supporting balances, trading positions, financial reporting, reconciliation, and proof-of-reserve mechanisms. Model chart-of-accounts structures and extensible financial data models for products such as lending, staking, and tokenized assets. Partner with Engineering, Finance, Data Engineering, and Product teams to ensure financial correctness, legal-entity ownership, pricing, and reconciliation are incorporated into system designs.
