Lead technical strategy and execution for foundational Trust and Safety backend systems supporting consumer risk and credit reporting. Design and operate highly available distributed systems, improve reliability, monitoring, testing, and on-call processes, and guide cross-functional initiatives. Establish engineering standards, conduct technical planning, mentor engineers, communicate architectural decisions, and drive system quality, scalability, and sustainability across teams.

Build and launch backend identity decisioning systems that validate consumer identity and satisfy KYC requirements. Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Auth, Fraud, and engineering teams; break projects into deliverable phases; write tested, extensible code; monitor system metrics and availability; participate in on-call support, code reviews, interviewing, and team development.

Lead the design, development, delivery, and operation of secure, scalable authentication platform capabilities, including sign-in, account recovery, MFA, session management, authorization, and identity federation. Collaborate with Product, Security, Fraud, Compliance, and engineering teams; improve reliability, monitoring, code quality, and security practices; resolve production issues; mentor engineers; and communicate technical decisions and trade-offs.
