Leads a hands-on accounting function across corporate and real estate project entities. Responsibilities include month- and year-end close, financial reporting, project and construction accounting, draws, AP/AR, payroll, tax and HST compliance, audits, debt reconciliations, budgeting, team development, process improvement, AI automation, and ERP implementation. The manager prepares key statements, reporting packages, covenant calculations, and accounting entries while reviewing team deliverables and supporting the Controller.

The Senior Accountant owns full-cycle accounting for corporate and real estate project entities, including month-end and year-end close, financial statements, reconciliations, job costing, construction draws, project closings, revenue recognition, HST filings, audits, budgeting, and forecasting. The role also supports ERP implementation, applies AI-assisted tools and Power Query to improve processes, and maintains internal controls and compliance across assigned entities.

Lead underwriting, financial modeling, and execution for acquisitions and ground-up multifamily development. Manage diligence, JV and debt structuring, CTD/CTC reporting, fundraising support, lender negotiations, IC memos, and cross-functional coordination.

Support underwriting, diligence, and asset management for acquisitions and development. Build and maintain financial and JV waterfall models, run sensitivity analyses, prepare Investment Committee and lender materials, track deal pipeline and development cost updates, and coordinate third-party due diligence across Canadian and US multifamily markets.

Support land development approvals and feasibility for Ontario residential condominium projects. Prepare municipal/provincial submission packages, track approval milestones, conduct site analyses, coordinate consultants and government stakeholders, assist community engagement and legal compliance, monitor project risks, and maintain project documentation. Embedded role within active development pipeline for hands-on exposure to large-scale projects. 12-month contract.
