Toronto-based energy technology company dynaCERT has appointed Kevin Unrath, who brings several years of experience in international corporate leadership, to serve as its new chief operating officer. His work will focus on boosting the company’s global expansion and increasing sales. Unrath will also act as managing director for dynaCERT GmbH in Germany.

DynaCERT develops solutions meant to cut down on carbon emissions and enable fuel savings for industries such as trucking and construction. Its HydraGEN offerings use electrolysis to produce hydrogen and oxygen and enhance combustion so that diesel engines are more fuel efficient.

Unrath will work closely with dynaCERT’s president and leverage his broad expertise in management and sales growth to help advance the company’s position in the global hydrogen marketplace, according to a statement from the company.

“I am looking forward to working at dynaCERT and expanding the HydraGEN technology for retrofitting combustion engines worldwide. The market for this innovation is now ready and we will focus on further and accelerated growth worldwide,” Unrath said in a statement.
