Graduate research internship to own end-to-end research on Customer World Models and proactive intelligence: design representations, develop methods (foundation models, RL, causal reasoning, agentic systems), run experiments, publish, and help ship ML systems that anticipate and act on customer needs.

Supports the Chief Compliance Officer/BSA Officer in building and administering a federally supervised trust bank’s compliance management and BSA/AML programs. Responsibilities include AML controls, customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, OFAC sanctions, wallet screening, digital asset typologies, compliance testing, issue remediation, regulatory change management, OCC examination readiness, audits, and Board reporting.

Build infrastructure and tooling for AI evaluations, including distributed scoring engines, task-set validation, grader systems, human-review calibration, statistical leaderboards, online feedback capture, and offline-to-online evaluation loops. Partner with product, engineering, data, and ML teams to deliver reliable, observable evaluation workflows that support faster and more trustworthy AI product development.

Build and operate database and storage platform software, including services, APIs, and developer tools for provisioning, migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle management. Solve scaling, performance, reliability, and data correctness challenges across databases, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and networking. Partner with engineering teams on schemas and platform adoption, lead technical projects through rollout, participate in on-call response, and use AI-assisted tools in development.
