Overview:

We are looking for a commercially savvy Senior Product Manager to lead the development and go-to-market success of our data product suite, including APIs, MCPs, and related integrations. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and revenue, requiring someone who can both guide technical execution and confidently engage with clients to drive adoption.

You will play a critical role in shaping the product roadmap, supporting engineering delivery, and directly contributing to revenue by helping position and sell our products to customers.

This is a hybrid role from our Toronto office. Expectation that the product manager would have overlap with the India team (starting at 7:30am ET).

What You'll Do:

  • Product Strategy & Execution
    • Own and drive the product roadmap for APIs, MCPs, and future integration protocols (e.g., A2A and related standards)
    • Translate business goals into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs
    • Orchestrate multiple parallel workstreams across engineering and non-engineering functions (e.g., GTM, operations, sales enablement) to ensure successful product delivery and launch
    • Partner closely with engineering to guide day-to-day development, unblock teams, and ensure high-quality delivery
    • Create and manage tickets, sprint plans, and ongoing product documentation
  • Commercial & Client Engagement
    • Act as a product expert in client-facing conversations, helping explain how our data products work and their value
    • Support sales efforts by articulating pricing models, including usage-based pricing (e.g., requests per second – RPS)
    • Collaborate with GTM teams to refine positioning, packaging, and pricing strategies
    • Gather customer feedback and translate insights into product improvements and opportunities
  • Go-To-Market Leadership
    • Drive product launches and ongoing GTM initiatives with a strong focus on revenue generation
    • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure successful product adoption
    • Monitor product performance, usage metrics, and commercial outcomes to inform strategy
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with a strong Engineering Manager and distributed engineering team to deliver efficiently
    • Collaborate closely with offshore teams, particularly in India, requiring early-day overlap (starting ~7:30 AM ET)
    • Ensure alignment across stakeholders and maintain clear communication across time zones

What You Have:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, ideally in data products, APIs, or platform-based products
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting sales or directly engaging with customers
  • Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts (e.g., APIs, data pipelines, integrations) in simple, compelling terms
  • Working knowledge of data platforms, data pipelines, and analytics (experience with Databricks is a plus)
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in product development
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering, data, and external partners to deliver scalable integrations
  • Hands-on experience working closely with engineering teams (Agile/Scrum, backlog management, ticketing)
  • Familiarity with integration protocols and data connectivity concepts (APIs, MCPs, and related technologies; exposure to A2A or similar is a plus)
  • Experience working with distributed or offshore teams
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in data platforms, SaaS infrastructure, or developer-facing products
  • Experience contributing to or leading go-to-market strategy
  • Technical background or strong technical fluency
  • Demonstrated ability to independently structure, prioritize, and drive complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, commercial, and operational teams

What We Offer:

The annual base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $165,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.

You will also be eligible for the following benefits:

  • Paid Time Off
  • Comprehensive benefits plan
  • Company RRSP Match
  • Development opportunities through the LinkedIn Learning platform
