What you’ll be working on
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more cross-functional teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, refinements).
- Coach team members and stakeholders in Agile values, principles, and practices.
- Identify and remove impediments that block team progress.
- Foster an environment of collaboration, transparency, and trust within the team.
- Support the Product Owner/Project Manager in refining and managing the product backlog.
- Help the team measure and improve their performance through metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown, throughput).
- Encourage continuous improvement by guiding teams through retrospectives and process adaptations.
- Act as a bridge between the team and the wider organization, helping stakeholders understand and embrace Agile ways of working.
- Partner with other Scrum Masters in the Process Excellence department to align practices across business units and share learnings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, data protection, and security standards in all Agile practices.
About you – preferred requirements for this role
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and Lean principles.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts within and across teams.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe-SM) preferred.
- Experience working with distributed or remote-first teams is a plus.
