We are looking for a Front End Developer to support our business growth. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing user-facing features, optimizing performance, and ensuring our applications are responsive and user-friendly. You should be a self-starter with strong collaborative skills. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires regular onsite presence at our 1123 Leslie St office location.

How You Will Contribute:

• Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern JS frameworks (React, Vue)
• Implement responsive design and cross-platform compatibility for optimal user experience
• Utilize state management tools and techniques (Redux, Flux, Piana) to ensure seamless application performance
• Configure and optimize build tools like Webpack or Vite for efficient development
• Collaborate with back-end developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of front-end components
  

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 5+ years of experience working with JavaScript and/or Typescript in front-end development
• Proficiency with at least one modern JS framework (React, Vue)
• Strong knowledge of state management and lifecycle, proficiency with at least one state management tool (Redux, Flux, Piana)
• Experience with responsive design
• Experience with Webpack or Vite (preferred)
• Experience with cross-platform app development
• Proven work experience with the complete process of at least one mobile application (from development to publishing in the app store)
• Hands-on knowledge of at least one OOP programming language (Java, Dart)
• Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technology
• Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills

Nice to haves:

• Agile development experience
• Experience with native app development (both iOS and Android)
• Basic experience with backend development (Database CRUD, RESTful API design, code deployment, Nginx config)
• Experience with NodeJS
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
  
• Experience working with payment or credit processing companies is an added advantage
