OMERS Alternative Investments, part of OMERS Global Credit, manages a scaled private credit portfolio across direct lending, strategic partnerships, and other alternative private credit strategies. As the platform grows, there is an increasing need for robust investment data, analytics, reporting, and operational infrastructure to support front-office decision making and portfolio management.
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically minded individual to join our team in a newly created position at the Analyst (Associate) or Senior Analyst (Senior Associate) level. This individual will operate at the intersection of investing, portfolio analytics, and operational execution, helping to enhance the team’s reporting capabilities and data intelligence. The successful candidate will work closely with investment professionals, finance, operations, and technology teams to support the evolving analytical and reporting needs of the private credit program.
As a member of the Private Credit team, you will be responsible for the following:
- Design, build, and maintain tools and data pipelines to create custom portfolio analytics and reporting using Power BI, Excel, and various other applications
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely data collection and perform daily validation of investment, performance, and portfolio activity data
- Consolidate portfolio data from unstructured and disparate data sources into various systems (e.g., eFront, Power BI) to produce cohesive and accurate portfolio insights
- Deliver analytical support and presentations to investment teams across portfolio management, valuation reporting, and performance analytics
- Actively collaborate with data, technology, operations, and finance teams to enhance data architecture and reporting infrastructure for the private credit platform
- Support the onboarding and integration of new investments, reporting processes, and data sources to support the team across the full investment lifecycle
You bring the following skills and qualifications:
- 2+ years work experience in private markets, fund administration/accounting, or credit institutional investing
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, mathematics, business, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development (required). Strong proficiency in Excel, eFront / Aladdin, Bloomberg at minimum
- Strong programming capabilities in Python and/or SQL, with experience automating data workflows and managing large datasets (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across investment, finance, operations, and technology teams
- Accurate and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Preference for candidates with strong data visualization skills, and ability to produce institutional-quality reporting dashboards and presentation materials

- Taking ownership of the design and enhancement of portfolio analytics, reporting frameworks, and investment decision-support tools across a growing private credit platform
- Helping institutionalize and scale data governance, reporting processes, and analytical capabilities as the platform continues to grow
- Fully imbedded in investment team and deal lifecycle, including investment diligence, onboarding, portfolio monitoring and performance monitoring
- Working directly alongside investment professionals while gaining exposure to sophisticated transactions, institutional counterparties, and top-tier asset managers

The expected salary range for the Analyst position is $100,000-130,000 per year.
The expected salary range for the Senior Analyst position is $120,000-150,000 per year.
